Event Policies

Rules, policies & other necessary things for events I organize.

I want my events to be enjoyable for everyone and have tried to create a comfortable, welcoming environment. When you register for my events you're agreeing to respect and follow the rules listed here.  Please do not put me in the difficult position of asking for an exception.  If I do it for one, I must do it for all otherwise it wouldn't be fair.  I am constantly reviewing the experiences I offer to try to make them the best I can and welcome suggestions & input.

Please respect the following guidelines for our events

  • No one under 18 is allowed to attend events unless otherwise noted in the event details.

  • Please bring a covered cup for use with all beverages.

  • Please use earphones if you’ll be listening to music or something other than the audio/music provided.

  • Please do not promote competing products. I respect your right to purchase and use any products you choose but it is the sale of the products, events and services that make it possible fore me to hold events.

  • Deadlines can't be extended and exceptions can't be made if everyone is to be treated equally. Thanks for understanding

  • We are scrapbookers – there will be pictures taken. I  may use photos taken during the event on my website, blog, Facebook Groups/Pages, etc.

Event Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • If you cancel more than 14 days before the event AND I am able to fill your spot, I will refund your registration fee minus 25%

  • If you cancel 14 days or less before an event and I'm not able to fill your spot no refund will be given.

  • If you are put on a waitlist and a spot is not available, I will refund the total amount you paid.

Tool Usage Policy

All current Border Maker Cartridges, Punches and Custom Cutting System Patterns are available for use during events as long as the following guidelines are followed:

  • You are welcome to use the current Border Maker System Cartridges at the Tool Table but please bring your Border Maker System Base and Positioning Guide.

  • You are welcome to use the current Custom Cutting System Patterns at the Tool Table but please bring your CCS Blades.

  • Please limit yourself to a few borders and/or punches for any single tool for the projects you are working on during the event. If you will need to use a tool more than a couple times, please bring yours to work with at your crop spot.

  • Please do not remove the tools from the Tool Table.

  • Please place tools back where you found them and leave the area clean for the next cropper.

  • Please do not use the tools to create items to take home for future use.

  • Please use only CM papers with the CM tools provide for your use during events.

  • All current CM tools are available for all event attendees to "try before you buy."  Please see me if you'd like an overview of a Recipe TemplateTrimmer or any other current CM item that isn't at the Tool Table.

  • If you are unsure about how a tool works, it would be my pleasure to give you a demo.
